I Tested the Brondell Swash Cl1700 Bidet and Here’s What I Found

This model secures the top spot among mechanical options because it hits the perfect balance of durability and ease of installation. It functions as a straightforward, no-nonsense upgrade for any standard elongated bowl.

I appreciate how it avoids the complexity of electrical wiring entirely. It is a solid, reliable choice for those who want a hygienic upgrade without any technical headaches.

This unit is built for the apartment dweller or anyone with a smaller bathroom footprint who refuses to sacrifice cleanliness. It caters specifically to the constraints of a round toilet bowl.

I believe its greatest strength is the compact, space-saving design. It provides the same robust dual nozzle system found in larger models while fitting snugly on tighter fixtures.

The built-in night light is the unexpected feature that changes everything, as it provides just enough illumination to guide you without ruining your sleep. Once you experience the convenience of this light, you will wonder how you managed in the dark before.

Beyond the glow, the heated seat and warm air dryer create a spa-like atmosphere in your own home. It is, in my view, the gold standard for those who prioritize comfort over simple utility.

The primary complaint I see regarding this model is that it requires a connection to your hot water supply, which may necessitate extra plumbing work. However, once that barrier is cleared, the ability to control water temperature is a genuine luxury.

I think it is worth the extra effort if you live in a region where the water supply runs cold. It transforms a standard wash into a customizable experience that mechanical models usually lack.

This unit functions exactly like its elongated counterpart, though it is tailored for those with a smaller toilet footprint. If you liked the sound of adjustable water temperatures but assumed your round bowl would exclude you, this is the solution.

It is a great middle ground for buyers who want luxury features without the bulk of an electric seat. I find this model to be an efficient use of bathroom real estate.

This model gained its reputation as the go-to for luxury round seating, and I believe that holds up under scrutiny. It brings the full suite of electric features to a compact bowl size, which is a rare feat in the current market.

While the installation is more involved than a simple mechanical seat, the oscillating stainless steel nozzle provides a level of precision that remains unmatched in this category. It is an investment in your daily routine that I would recommend to anyone.
